Turner Court School in Yale, Bristol, has officially opened its doors to pupils.
Turner Court School provides specialist education for children aged six to 11 with ADHD, speech and language difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school has been purposefully designed to deliver a nurturing, therapeutic and highly personalised learning environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally in class sizes of no more than nine pupils.
The school's connection with nearby Castlefell School, helps create a clear pathway of specialist support for families, offering continuity of provision from primary into secondary education where appropriate.
Yenna Yeo, Head Teacher, said:
“Welcoming our pupils is a milestone we are all incredibly proud of. Every child arrives with their own story, strengths and potential, and we are committed to helping them rediscover a love of learning, build confidence and believe in what they can achieve. Through our specialist support and nurturing environment, every pupil can feel safe, valued and understood. We’re equally looking forward to working alongside their families, building a community of support around each child that they truly deserve.”
