Witherslack Group is proud to be a finalist at the Education Awards 2026. Shortlisted in the Transforming Lives through Partnerships category, recognising our commitment to working collaboratively to improve outcomes for children and young people with the most complex needs through our innovative Futures programme.

The shortlisting reflects our dedication to raising the aspirations of our pupils and students, while also equipping them with the skills and confidence to realise outstanding outcomes.

The Futures programme inspires and connects pupils with their next steps beyond education, utilising a growing network of over 350 employer partnerships, including Microsoft, Mercedes, and John Lewis, to provide outstanding workplace experiences and ongoing opportunities and support.

Futures sessions provide practical guidance on job applications, confidence-building, networking, and workplace expectations, giving children and young people the tools to navigate their career paths with clarity. Complementing this, our Futures curriculum enriches academic growth while developing personal development and career readiness, ensuring they are prepared for their chosen paths. With no upper age limit for support, the programme boasts a 100% success rate in helping students transition into education, employment, or training.

The winners will be revealed during a prestigious ceremony on Friday 24 April 2026 at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. The event will bring together educators, institutions and sector leaders from across the region to celebrate the achievements of those making a meaningful difference in education.

Jas Rohel, Founder of the Education Awards, said:

“The Education Awards celebrate the incredible people who dedicate their lives to shaping the future through education. Every year we see inspiring stories from across the sector, and it is a privilege to recognise the passion, resilience and innovation that exists within our schools, colleges, and organisations. We are excited to bring the education community together once again in Manchester to celebrate their success.”
