Witherslack Group named one of the UK’s Top Ten Companies
We’re delighted to announce that we have been recognised as one of ten top-performing businesses in the UK’s 2025 Best Managed Companies awards. The award recognises our organisational success and contributions to both our industry and the wider economy.
The UK’s Best Managed Companies programme shines a spotlight on businesses from across the UK and the performance that drives them. The programme is an initiative of Deloitte.
This is the inaugural year of the UK’s Best Managed Companies awards in the UK, with the programme already established across the world.
Independent judges assessed applicants based on four critical pillars: strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities and innovation, and governance and finance.
Tracey Fletcher-Ray, our CEO commented:
“The judges took a detailed view of how our Group operates, looking in each of those four areas for the attributes and actions which make us stand out from the rest. “
She continued by saying:
“They were impressed with what they saw and their feedback highlighted a number of key strengths of our Group, from having a clear purpose as set out in our Group Strategy, to a focus on sustainability and having an inclusive culture. They also highly rated us for our robust governance processes, the high levels of parent and carer satisfaction, the involvement of young people’s voices through the Speak Up Squad, as well as our innovative work from Futures to how we’re using AI for learning and development.”
She concluded by saying:
