Staff, pupils, and parents at Greenholm School are celebrating after receiving glowing feedback in their latest Ofsted inspection.
The school, which supports young people aged 11 to 19 with autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory issues, was rated ‘Good’ overall in areas including quality of education, leadership and management, and its sixth-form provision at Strawberry Lodge Campus.
Inspectors also praised the school’s behaviour and attitudes and personal development, awarding both areas an ‘Outstanding’ rating.
Chris Pitts, Head Teacher, commented:
“I am incredibly proud of the outcome of this Ofsted report, and believe it is a true reflection of the school team, who go above and beyond for our school community with their specialist support of children and young people, and the families that we work with.’’
The report highlights the school’s high expectations, nurturing environment, and strong sense of community, recognising Greenholm as a place where pupils thrive both academically and personally.
