Pupils, parents, and the team at Ashbrooke School are celebrating after the school was announced as a finalist in The National Children & Young People Awards, in the category of The Wellbeing Award.
The Wellbeing Award recognises individuals or organisations that go above and beyond to promote wellbeing for children and young people.
Clare Read, Head Teacher, commented:
"At Ashbrooke, wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to be nominated for the Wellbeing Award in the National CYP Awards, which recognises how our community comes together to support one another in thriving and achieving personal well-being."
For Ashbrooke School, this nomination reflects the collective effort of the entire school community to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
In addition to the school’s nomination, we’re delighted that two other members of the Care Team have also been recognised. Jenny Reeder has been nominated for the Frontline Leader Award, and Kirstie Robinson for the Children’s Home Manager Award (North).
The winners will be announced at the National Children & Young People Awards at a ceremony on 3rd October at the ICC, Birmingham.
We have everything crossed for everyone. Good luck team.
