11 DECEMBER 2024
Laura Heath, Training Co-ordinator from The ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity, shares an overview of how pupils with ADHD or autism mask in school, plus practical strategies to support and empower them to be their authentic selves.
In this webinar, Laura explores masking in children and young people with ADHD and autism, focusing on how they often feel the need to hide feelings of dysregulation and overwhelm in school. We also share classroom strategies aimed at nurturing a greater sense of belonging and promoting authentic neurodivergent interactions. These approaches will help reduce the need for masking, empowering children to feel comfortable, confident, and accepted as they truly are.
