Achieve outstanding outcomes

Across all of our schools, children’s homes and integrated provisions, we provide young people with unrivalled levels of therapeutic support, both in terms of the expertise and experience of our in-house staff and the wide range of therapies and support offered.

Our unique approach to supporting young people allows us to achieve uniquely outstanding outcomes, which in turn enables our young people to go on to realise a future filled with aspiration and achievement.  In every setting, as required, young people have the support of our Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

Our commitment to delivering outstanding therapeutic support to all young people is based on attachment principles. We believe that a young person needs to feel emotionally secure before they can fulfil their personal, social and educational potential.  Our Clinical Services Team works alongside our school and children’s home staff to embed and achieve this.

"What makes Witherslack Group a great place to work is that we are a team within a team, within a team. We have the absolute confidence and support of the senior leadership team."

Embedded into every part of our Group

By joining us as a member of our Clinical Services Team, you’ll be working for an organisation that embeds therapeutic support, and its value and ability to positively impact, at the very heart of all we do.   You’ll be given the resource, training and ability to offer our young people within our schools and children’s homes a truly personalised and comprehensive package of support.

You’ll work in a completely collaborative way alongside our schools and children’s homes that ensures that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care and support we offer all of our children and young people.

Our therapeutic professionals are a crucial part of what we offer. With their expertise, we can not only meet children and young people’s emotional and behavioural needs but together go beyond and help create amazing stories of success.

"...seeing the smiles, hearing the stories, witnessing the changes in both children and colleague's behaviours that enables them to live and learn with us. It's being able to see children laugh, play, grow and develop in an environment in which they are encouraged and feel comfortable to do so. "
