About our speaker
Dr Ruth Kitchen
Clinical Psychologist from our Group
Ruth is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with children and young people for 25 years. She was formerly a secondary school teacher, working in challenging inner-city mainstream settings and holding leadership positions within teaching and learning, pastoral provision and safeguarding. Ruth was motivated to retrain as a Clinical Psychologist through a desire to understand and find ways to support the presentations and challenges she experienced during her 16 years in teaching. This webinar seeks to bring together her passions for mental health and education and apply evidence-based psychological understanding to the craft of teaching.
