About our speaker

Hannah Webb

Our Psychologist

I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist working for the Witherslack Group across The Eaves Learning Centre and Castlefell School, where I provide specialist psychological support to children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other complex developmental and behavioural presentations. My role involves delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions, conducting psychological assessments, and working closely with staff teams, families, and multi-disciplinary professionals to create tailored support plans that promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive engagement in learning.

For the past 10 years, I have worked extensively with children who have experienced significant trauma within residential children’s homes, utilising evidence-based approaches to address the impact of adverse childhood experiences and support recovery. This work has included therapeutic life story work, trauma-informed interventions, and strategies to manage risk and promote wellbeing. Prior to this, I was part of the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), supporting children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, self-harm, behavioural challenges, and neurodevelopmental conditions. My combined experience in education, residential care, and healthcare environments enables me to provide holistic, person-centred psychological support that considers the full context of each child’s needs.
