Pupils shine at festive fair
Pupils from Oversands School evidenced their exceptional business skills at Cartmel’s Christmas Fair, where they not only captured the festive spirit, but also managed to sell out their handmade festive goodies.
In the weeks leading up to the fair, they spent their time meticulously planning their sale pitches and business plans. All the products sold at the fair had been handmade by the budding entrepreneurs, who sold items including, sweet cones, Christmas cards, sticky toffee puddings and wooden reindeer sculptures.
The School’s Business Teacher, Paul Ward said:
“It was a fantastic effort from the pupils. They put in a tremendous amount of hard work on the day, even when the cold temperature’s challenged them.”
The pupils demonstrated fantastic teamwork throughout the entire process. They seamlessly worked together on the day to bring their plan to life which ensured efficiency and ultimately resulted in customer satisfaction. They thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of the project, and look forward to the next opportunity to showcase the skills they learnt.
This is what you call a dream team. Well done, everyone.
