Witherslack Hall School is a well established and highly effective independent 38 week residential and day school. The school caters for boys, aged 11-19, who have complex learning needs and challenging behaviour. We aim to develop resilience in our young people through teaching the skills of emotional literacy and through building confidence, self-esteem and trust within a supportive environment.

'Outstanding' Ofsted Evaluation

Street dancing is a new activity provided by school. A professional dance instructor attends school once a week to teach the boys the latest moves and styles in the world of street dance. Following T.V programmes such as “Got to Dance “and street dance group “Diversity” our boys have shown huge amounts of enthusiasm and commitment.
The dance instructor has praised all the boys for energy, attentiveness and control and they are working towards a performance on Awards Day!
