THE BIRCHES' young people will usually be aged between eleven and seventeen, although there will be some flexibility in this age range to take account of the individual’s developmental stage and cognitive functioning.

CUMBRIA VIEW Children‘s Home opened in June 2006 and is situated in a large detached house in Silverdale, near Carnforth, set in its own grounds of approximately two acres.

WCEI Continues to Expand

The Witherslack Group operates a number of small Children's Homes working in partnership with our Schools to provide high quality care and education for young people who are unable to live in a family context. These facilities cater for young people aged 9-16 with complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
