Support Services

Each of our Homes works in partnership with schools within the Witherslack Group and local colleges, where appropriate.  This enables the staff team to develop considerable expertise in addressing the precise needs of the individual young people in our care. Additional specialist support is available from the Therapeutic Services Team. This team typically consists of an Educational Psychologist, a CAHMS worker, a Speech & Language Therapist, a Play Therapist and a Music Therapist. Other specialist therapists are engaged according to the needs of individual young people.

Access to any support service is always agreed in advance with the placing authority and those with parental responsibility, this usually takes place at the young person’s LAC review.
