Pontville School is a day and 38 week residential secondary school, for young people with speech, language and social communication impairments aged between 7 and 19. The school is situated on the outskirts of Ormskirk, Lancashire and benefits from specialist areas for: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, ICT, Home Economics, PE, Expressive Arts, Art/CDT and Humanities. The school offers externally accredited courses up to GCSE in 11 subject areas and has Post 16 provision facilities for: Catering, Construction and Land Based Studies. The school also has extensive links with the local mainstream secondary school and college to offer a wider range of supported study.
