Team Building

What is a team?

The word ‘Team’ is used to refer to all kinds of situations where groups of people work together. Football, cricket and other sports teams are obvious examples.

In today’s workplace we may find ourselves belonging to many teams. Some of these will be very temporary; set up to manage a specific issue, such as bringing a new piece of equipment on-line, while others may be more enduring such as workgroups operating on a day-to-day basis.

Our tailored team development workshops will enable your teams to realise their full potential; identify and resolve blockages to effective and co-operative team working and develop action plans for future improvement.

 Programme Benefits include:

  • Developing an understanding of what makes an effective team and what makes an effective team member
  • Examining the effect of competition between teams within organisations and appreciating the benefits of co-operation as opposed to competition in the workplace
  • Understanding how sharing information can enhance and improve teamwork
  • Experiencing the benefits of team working and understanding how to apply this in the workplace
  • Appreciating the need for shared responsibility
  • Developing the concept of the ‘whole team’
  • Developing bonds of trust and respect between individuals
