NVQ
Health & Social Care ‘Children and Young People’ awards are the required qualification for any staff working within a residential setting for children or young adults. They are available as a Level 3 qualification for staff with supervisory responsibility for children and young people and Level 4 for staff in a team leader role.
Aims
One of the main aims of the NVQ program is to allow staff to demonstrate that they have the required knowledge to fulfil their work responsibilities and show how they apply this knowledge to everyday practice.
