Emotional Intelligence
JBE Training and Development states it will help teachers develop their emotional intelligence (EQ) through a new two day programme. ‘EQ For School’ contains hands on dynamic instruction, activities and practical projects based on the ‘Self Science’ curriculum featured as a model in Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence. Participants will experience an EQ learning environment and discover how to use a range of effective tools that can be adapted to their needs. Mark Bowes, Trainer/Consultant, said: “The programme helps teachers to understand current research on the brain, emotions, behaviour and learning. It also offers skills and knowledge that support and enhance the delivery of social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL).” |
New Training Facilities
We are pleased to announce that JBE T&D has been granted planning permission for a new training facility at their Lupton venue. Work has already commenced and we hope to have a new lecture room open by New Year 2010. |

Marc Peart appointed as a Senior Trainer / Consultant.
JBE Training & Development are pleased to announce that Marc Peart has been appointed as a Senior Trainer / Consultant. Marc has a background in both the Special Education and Residential Care Sectors and has worked extensively as a Senior Teacher of Outdoor Education with Warwickshire Local Authority as well as teaching in the private sector. As a result of Marc joining the JBE team we are intending to increase JBEs portfolio of Programmes with particular emphasis on the Education sector. |
