Chilworth House Upper School is a secondary co-educational day special school for pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour. The school is soon to open an additional site to offer a more comprehensive range of practical and vocational subject areas.

- Clear evidence of successful secondary school classroom practice, curriculum innovation and high expectations of young people.
- A track record of successful organisational and management experience.
- An ability to direct and develop behaviour management ethos and strategy.
- An ability to establish and utilise links within the community.
- Enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
- A strong desire, energy and vision to build on the school’s present achievements.
- Proven communication, management and leadership skills.
