Chilworth House Upper School - Education

The school offers a fully differentiated and specialist curriculum for pupils aged 11-16. The school builds upon the model at Chilworth House School to promote core values such as honesty, respect, happiness, responsibility, tolerance and peace.

These values are interwoven into a structured framework that aim to develop pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural skills across the curriculum through activities based upon the five social and emotional aspects of learning. Regular offsite visits to support the Curriculum Model.

At Key Stage 4 subject areas are linked to accredited courses including academic, vocational and work related learning. Careful subject planning ensures that learning opportunities are delivered in a values based cross-curricular approach.

The school benefits from regular input from visiting Therapists and an Educational Psychologist.
