Chilworth House Upper School is an extended specialist provision for Chilworth House School catering for Key Stage 3 & 4 secondary aged pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The school situated next to Chilworth House School in the rural outskirts of Oxford.

Chilworth Upper opens its doors

 
A new state-of-the-art secondary school has opened in Oxfordshire providing quality education and care for young people with specialist needs. Chilworth House Upper School is an extended specialist provision for Chilworth House School catering for Key Stage 3 & 4 secondary aged pupils. The school is situated next door to Chilworth House in the rural environment on the outskirts of Oxford. Pupils attending the new Upper School will primarily have complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The school is part of The Witherslack Group’s growing portfolio in the south.
 
 
Bob Marchbank, Principal at Chilworth House Upper School, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our new school as it will enable us to provide continuous education and care to our primary pupils and carry on the ethos of The Witherslack Group. Pupils are able to learn in safe and caring environment with some of the best staff to pupil ratios in the sector, this ensures high levels of supervision and support. We are now looking to further enhance our provision with specialist facilities for science and art in the near future.”
