"Both my husband and I love the school, it has a wonderful warmth to it as soon as you walk through the door. We just knew that our son would achieve so much there and for the first time we felt the fog lifting".

Bonjour!

On 5th December, KS2 pupils all took part in our French Day.

This consisted of a carousel of activities for pupils to take part in.  First of all they made  Identity cards and created French flags with Mademoiselle Wilson et Mademoiselle Craig, then they recreated the work of Henri Matisse’s l’Escargot with Mademoiselle Mitchell et Monsieur Willcox, then they played French games with Mademoiselle Smith et Madame Billington.

Finally pupils were able to visit the Chilworth Café where they  could taste a range of French foods: croissants, pain au chocolat, French cheeses, brioches, pains aux raisins.

All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and are enthusiastic about their weekly French lessons.
