Cedar House School Vacancies
Cedar House School is part of the Witherslack Group; a well established independent group of residential/day special schools and children’s homes. Cedar House is a very successful 38 week residential school for boys and girls in the 7 - 16 age range exhibiting behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, as well as a range of complex needs. Experience of working in a residential BESD school is preferable but not essential. Opportunities will be provided to support training and completion of further qualifications. We are committed to the provision of the highest quality service for our pupils and are seeking to appoint the following enthusiastic and dedicated staff to join our well-established team –
RESIDENTIAL CHILD CARE OFFICERS (RCCO)
(Two Full Time and two Temporary Posts to cover Maternity Leave)
Candidates are expected to offer a full programme of activities and act as keyworkers.
- 42.6 hours per week
- Excellent fixed rotas
- 13 weeks holiday per annum
- NJC Pt 12 (£15,039) to Pt 22 (£19,621) per annum dependent on qualifications and experience

TEACHING ASSISTANT
To work with small groups of children alongside a classroom teacher and individual pupils.
- 32.5 hours per week
- 13 weeks holiday per annum
- NJC Pt 4 (£12,145) to Pt 17 (£16,830) + £1,177 TA Allowance per annum. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
