Cedar School Image

Cedar House is a 38 week residential & day special school, which caters for boys & girls between the ages of 7-16. We provide our pupils with a safe, secure and caring environment, within which personal growth and development is promoted. Residential pupils participate in a 24 hour curriculum and follow evening and weekend activity programmes.

This term has seen another successful Duke of Edinburgh expedition, this time to Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales.

As a result of their outstanding achievement and diligent efforts in a wild and sometimes hostile forest environment, several pupils have recently received their John Muir 'Explorer' awards.

Pupils learning how to care for and ride the horses at Greenhall Stables.

In 2008—2009 the team played 13 games, won 4, drew 1 and lost 8, scored 33 goals and conceded 37. We all look forward to the new season in the autumn.

Camping and walking expeditions to Dent in the Yorkshire Dales.
